Primarily using painting and drawing I explore the relationship between landscape, colour and emotion. For me painting is a process of gradually building up layers of colour and texture which ultimately come to reflect a kind of strange reality full of the pain and joy of being human. I also borrow from street art to create graphic contrast and my own kind of unfathomable handwriting.
